Jobs! is offered as a member benefit. As a member of the Huntsville/Madison
County Chamber you are invited to post as many job listings as you like,
as often as you like. There is no cost for this service. If your business is
not a member, click here.
How It Works Jobs can be posted using a simple online form. To get started please e-mail Judy Short (jshort@hsvchamber.org) for your member number. You will need to provide her with your company name as you want it to appear on the Jobs! site and two email addresses. One email address will appear on the website and can be a company or general HR mailbox. The second email will be used by Judy to communicate with your primary jobs point of contact and will not be made public. They can be the same if you wish. Your company name, as submitted, serves as your user name and your member number is your password. You must enter your company name exactly as you submit it. Be mindful of abbreviations, articles and extensions. Jobs are listed for 30 days then automatically removed so you don't have to worry about having outdated listings. You will be notified at the public email address you provide 7 days in advance of any of your listings being removed. You will then have a chance to renew the listing for another 30 days, saving you from re-typing all the information. If you do nothing, the listing will expire. It's easy to post a job, edit a current job listing, or even delete a job if it's filled before 30 days has passed. Tips For Posting There are seven fields in the online form, giving you the opportunity to share as much information about your positions as you would like. If you would like to streamline your postings, you can limit the information to just three necessary fields: category (a drop-down list), job title (a blank field) and how to apply (a blank field). In addition, feel free to group multiple jobs that are within the same category under a job title such as "multiple listings". In the "how to apply" field, you can simply insert the URL for your company's employment page where job seekers can link to your application instructions (note – this should not be your company's home page).
